Liminal

This name (in French Liminaires) was the title of a solo exhibition that took place in 2014. It marks this increasingly obvious concern of my interest both for the limits and for this approach that I also call the representation of what is before Painting, before any expression of forms and colors. The limits are expressed in the collages, in the movements of the tissues, in the third dimension which begins to appear from that moment. In that respect, the Storm blowing in canvas is a perfect example of working on the boundaries between colors, shapes delimited by collages, boundaries drawn by the folds and seams of clothes flaps etc.
